The process of bone density decreases slowly and lasts for years without us knowing it and without the presence of symptoms. Symptoms occur in advanced stages of osteoporosis such as fractures, increasingly bent back, loss of height and back pain.

Fragile spine can be destroyed spontaneously or with minor injuries. Pain that arises suddenly perceived in a certain area in the back. This pain akanbertambah if the person is standing or walking. When touched the area will be sore. But usually this pain will gradually disappear after a few weeks or a few months.
Then when some striped bone crushed, will form an abnormal curvature of the spine (dowager's hump) that cause muscle tension and pain. Other bones can fracture is often caused by light pressure or a fall. One of the most serious fractures are hip fractures
